NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub Grants: PhD Top-ups

The NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub’s Land and Primary Industries Network will provide funding to support 20 Higher Degree Researchers of Partner institutions through a PhD Top-Up.

The PhD Top-Up program provides a one-off lump sum payment of $10,000 to support a currently enrolled PhD candidate whose research contributes to decarbonisation and relates to the land and primary industry sectors (e.g., agriculture, energy, industry, built environment, transport, climate policy, carbon markets, behavioural insights).

The PhD Top Up must be used to undertake:

• Additional research and/or
• Capacity building to strengthen industry / on-farm engagement or the public dissemination of the research.
