NSW Decarb Hub Grants: Open CER Tools & Data Enablement Fund

The NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub is providing funding to support a number of Consumer Energy Resources (CER) projects through its Electrification and Energy Systems Network (EESN).

EESN invites proposals in the following area:
1. Open Software Tools
Support for increasing the re-use of open-source CER software tools, which may include modelling, optimisation, visualisation, decision support or other tools related to CER. Eligible activities are focussed on improving the reusability and sustainability of existing open software tools and related resources, rather than developing new tools. This may include developing resources to support reuse, improving interoperability, or improving sustainability or maintainability.
2. Open Data Resources
Preparing and documenting CER data, such as that collected for research projects, for sharing with members of the Network and beyond for the purposes of further research (in accordance with ethics approvals).
The maximum funding available per proposal is $20,000.
