NSW Decarb Hub Strategy Launch 2027-2029

On 23 September 2026, the NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub officially launched its 2027–29 Strategy, bringing together partners from across government, industry, research and the broader innovation ecosystem at Greenhouse Sydney.

The launch marked an important milestone for the Hub as we look to the next three years—building on the strong foundations established since 2022 and sharpening our focus on translating research and innovation into real-world decarbonisation outcomes.

Held during Global Goals Week, the event was also an opportunity to celebrate the people and partnerships behind the Hub, showcase emerging projects and capabilities across our Networks, and share our collective ambition for accelerating NSW’s transition to net zero.

The mission of the Hub is to support NSW to become a recognised global leader in decarbonisation innovation.

The Hub will achieve this by leveraging its unique position at the intersection of academia, government and industry to deliver innovative solutions that make net zero achievable, equitable and prosperous for NSW and beyond.
