Innovate P2X 2025 Winners Announced

Driving Commercialisation Pathways for a Decarbonised Future

The NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub was pleased to announce the successful recipients of the 2025 Innovate P2X funding round at the ‘Network to Impact: PFHN Early Career Forum’ hosted at Macquarie University on Tuesday 26 August.

Innovate P2X is a co-funding initiative that provides NSW-based small and medium enterprises (SMEs), university spinouts and startups with the opportunity to access research infrastructure, resources, and knowledge for technology commercialisation acceleration in collaboration with our network partners. The program builds innovation, entrepreneurship, and capacity for knowledge translation of P2X technology in NSW, contributing towards the NSW Government’s net zero emissions targets. It aims to help upscale P2X technology along the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) scale – supporting the critical transition from concept to commercial deployment.

This year’s selected projects represent a diverse range of approaches – from low-carbon hydrogen production and sustainable fuel development to advanced materials and carbon capture – all with the potential to make a tangible contribution to Australia’s decarbonisation goals.
